YSRCP MP Vijayasaireddy said the process of transforming Visakhapatnam into the executive capital was being delayed due to some technical glitches.

The MP, who visited the Sri Gangamma Temple in Jalaripeta in Visakhapatnam on Thursday, confirmed that despite the delay, Vizag is sure to become the executive capital of the state.

The MP clarified that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu could not stop this move. He also clarified that there is no room for early elections in the state. Regarding the presidential candidate, the MP said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would call on who to support.

The former TDP minister was responding to a question on the demolition of the CH compound wall. He said the YSSRCP would not abandon those who occupied government property. The MP reiterated that although the High Court had given a temporary relief on the issue, the occupant deserved to be evicted for occupying the space.

Meanwhile, MLC Vamsi Krishna Srinivas Yadav has submitted a petition to Mayor Hari Venkata Kumari MP Vijayasaireddy seeking allotment of land for the Yadava Community Hall in Visakhapatnam.

He was speaking on the sidelines of the Vizag Journalists' Forum and APWJF delegates meeting with the MP.
