Two deaths from Guillain-Barré Syndrome in Andhra Pradesh, 17 cases reported

A 45-year-old woman and a 10-year-old boy have died of Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS), a rare autoimmune neurological disorder, in Andhra Pradesh over the past 10 days, Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav confirmed on Monday.

The Minister stated that Kamalamma succumbed to the disease at Government General Hospital (GGH) in Guntur on Sunday, while the minor boy passed away at a private medical college in Srikakulam 10 days ago.
