TS BJP leaders writes letter to DGP to give permission for Bandi

Director General of Police M Mahender Reddy on Tuesday assured that all necessary security will be provided for TS BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar's third phase of 'Praja Sangrama Yatra' from August 2 to 26.

He was reacting after a group of state BJP leaders led by BJP state vice-president Dr G Manohar Reddy, general secretaries G Premender Reddy and Dugyala Pradeep Kumar submitted a letter seeking permission for the trip. State BJP said in the letter that senior leaders of national and state BJP will participate in this yatra.

The delegation assured in its representation that the Yatra will abide by the provisions of Epidemic Diseases Act and Disaster Management Act and other government orders issued from time to time.

The party sought permission to use a drone camera to cover the trip. The letter stated that the schedule of the program has been circulated to all the concerned police officers i.e. Commissioner of Police Rachakonda, Commissioner of Police Warangal and Superintendent of Nalgonda for necessary information and to look after law and order arrangements in their jurisdictions.

A group of public representatives also sought permission to hold public meetings. He said that the DGP has assured that necessary security will be provided for the trip.
