Tesla’s board began the process to replace Elon Musk as CEO

Tesla board members contacted executive search firms last month to find possible replacements for CEO Elon Musk, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday, citing sources.

The current status of those talks is unclear. It’s also unknown whether Musk, is part of the board, was aware of the effort.
