Telangana RTC gets Excellence award for a mega blood donation camp

The Indian Red Cross Society under the auspices, 'World Blood Donor Day' was organized on Tuesday at the Raj Bhavan Community Hall. Heads of Government Departments, Organizations and NGOs who have motivated the people to donate blood were felicitated by the State Governor and President of the Indian Red Cross Society, Dr. Tamilsai Soundarajan.

Under the guidance of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) MD, VC Sajjanar TSRTC Chairman and MLA, Bajireddy Govardhan, on November 30, 2021, nearly 5,000 employees at all depots and major bus stations in the state conducted mass blood donation camps with them. Relatives and people donated blood in large numbers.

On this occasion VC Sajjanar was honored for his efforts in donating the highest amount of blood in government departments. On behalf of TSRTC MD, TSRTC Executive Director (O) and Corporation Secretary PV Munisekhar received the award and certificate of commendation from the Governor.
