Tamil Nadu weather: Chennai to receive heavy rains till weekend as IMD issues yellow alert

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday issued a red alert for extremely heavy rainfall in three central districts on November 26 and two districts on November 27. The yellow alert for heavy rainfall in Chennai was retained from November 27 to 29.
