SRKR Engineering College Flag Day Fund Rs. 1 lakh donated

Principal Dr. M Jagapathi Raju said that as part of Kargil Vijay Divas celebrations, the management of SRKR Engineering College and NSS unit of the college donated Rs.1 lakh to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund.

In honor of Kargil Vijay Divas, college committee vice-president SV Rangaraju handed over a check of Rs.1 lakh to District Sainik Welfare Officer KVS Prasada Rao in the college conference hall on Tuesday.

NSS unit in-charge Dr R Krishna Chaitanya and coordinator KSS Prasad Raju said that the students, staff and management have donated to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund.

The principal said that the armed forces will stand guard in freezing temperatures and their sacrifices will never go in vain and every Indian will support the welfare of the armed forces. KVS Prasada Rao paid tribute to the soldiers who died in Kargil.
