SIT to inquire into PDS rice scam at Kakinada port in Andhra Pradesh

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted to investigate into the alleged illegal export of rice meant for Public Distribution System (PDS) from the Kakinada-based port.

It will be headed by A.P. Crime Investigation Department (CID) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Vineet Brij Lal.
