Secretariat staff in jubilation for regularization of jobs

Rajahmundry MP Margani Bharatram said that the decision taken by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to streamline the services of the Secretariat staff was historic and that every Secretariat employee should work hard and bring good name to the government in return.
Many employees under the auspices of State Working President of Village Ward Secretariat Employees Veerapati Nikhil Krishna on Monday thanked the Chief Minister for humanely organizing and streamlining their services at the Collectorate in Rajahmundry. Jagan performed the anointing to paint and cut the cake.
District Collector Madhavi Lata said that the responsibility of the secretariat employees in providing district development and welfare schemes has further increased. She said orders have been issued regularizing the service of 4,452 secretaries working in 512 secretariats in urban and rural areas of the district.
She said 770 secretariat employees have been regularized in 96 wards of Rajahmundry Municipal Corporation, 171 employees in 19 wards in Kovvur municipality and 206 out of 226 in Nidadavolu municipalities.
Rajanagaram MLA Jakkampudi Raja said that Jagan had provided good governance to every household through a revolutionary secretariat system.
The event was attended by Ruda Chairperson Sharmila Reddy, YSRCP Rural Coordinator Chandananageshwar, district officials and more than 200 secretariat employees.
