Rubio dials S Jaishankar, Shehbaz Sharif: India and Pak should de-escalate tensions

External Affairs minister S Jaishankar spoke to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio Wednesday and said that the perpetrators, backers and planners of the Pahalgam terrorist attack must be brought to justice.

          Rubio told Jaishankar that he “encouraged India to work with Pakistan to de-escalate tensions and maintain peace and security in South Asia.”
