PM Modi calls for immediate ceasefire in Ukraine

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on Tuesday appealed to Russia and Ukraine for an immediate ceasefire and return to the path of dialogue and diplomacy to resolve the crisis. He emphasized the urgency and need to solve the conflict through peaceful means. He met the Danish counterpart Mette Frederiksen in Denmark. However, the Danish counterpart hoped that India will use its influence over Russia to end the war.
