Peddi Reddy condemns Naidu for false propaganda

Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy said that TDP Chief N. Chandrababu is spreading false propaganda on illegal mining.

He said that no irregularities had taken place in Rushikonda. Speaking at a media conference in Tirupati on Thursday, he lashed out at the accusations being made against Chandrababu Naidu. He condemned TDP's bad propaganda against the government.

The minister explained that similar lies were propagated in the case of Kuppam mining. Officials themselves have monitored and concluded that illegal mining is not going on. He said that the TDP leaders were doing rowdyism in the heap.

He said that action has been taken against those who have committed illegalities in the past, illegalities in mining have taken place during the TDP regime and the income of the state has increased with many reforms.

He said that the sand tenders are being called transparently and are being monitored from time to time through the satellite system. Minister Peddireddy said that the AP Mining Department has recently received appreciation from the Central Government.
