Pawan Kalyan says, Navaratnalu is destroying AP

Referring to the anti-YSRC alliance, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan said on Sunday that he will not hesitate to join hands with his enemies to oust the present oppressive government in the state. This is what politics is all about, he said.

But in the same breath he decided that his party is not ready to support TDP. “We are not supporting TDP as suggested. Is it better to compete alone? We did it in 2019.. We have not yet decided on who to contest the elections with, and if the YSRCP regime is good, why would they call for the anti-YSRCP vote not to split?

Speaking to reporters at the end of Jana Sena's Jana Vani, the actor-turned-politician said, “In 2014 elections, I supported TDP based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's word. Also, I supported TDP only after Jana Sena chief Chandrababu Naidu visited Jana Sena party office as a mark of respect to my party workers.

Answering a question, Pawan Kalyan said, "The Jana Sena's strategy is to end the YSRC regime and ensure that it does not come to power in the state in the 2024 assembly elections under any circumstances."

Pawan Kalyan reiterated that he is for constructive politics and not for destructive politics, hence Telangana leaders refused to contest Jana Sena in the previous election. “If we contest, we will get 100, 1,000 or 2,000 votes. What use "It is better to contest in limited seats in the general elections.”

The Jana Sena chief said there is always a need for a 'third alternative' in the political spectrum both at the state and at the Centre. Andhra Pradesh would have had an alternative if the Praja Rajyam Party (by his brother Chiranjeevi) had not been dissolved in 2009, he said.

Pawan Kalyan described Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as 'Andhrathanos'. He said that the Chief Minister is working for the welfare of the people through Navratnas. In fact he is damaging the future of the state. 'YSRC leaders call me the adopted son of TDP. "Now I want to name the Marvel character Thanos as AP CM for destroying the state," he said.

Further, Pawan Kalyan exhorted the leaders of the Reddy community, a dominant community in the region, to guide the backward and downtrodden classes and bring political empowerment among them and work towards eradicating caste disparities to ensure comprehensive development of Rayalaseema.
