Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan accused the YSRCP government of failing to implement one of the Navratnas, the ban on alcohol. On Sunday, he organized a Janavani program here.

Later, in a press conference, he said that under the guise of liquor ban, some have illegally earned thousands of crores of income. He alleged that the liquor vendors will not get permission unless they pay Rs.5 per liter to the people of YSRCP.

He criticized the government officials for encouraging belt shops. Liquor prices were increased four times during Jagan's regime. He said that 70 types of local brands in liquor are running under the auspices of 'suitcase' companies.

Pawan Kalyan who accused Beverages Corporation of borrowing 8000 crores and will bring another 500 crores soon, questioned how such rulers can ban alcohol. In the state, 5 thousand people died illegally after drinking adulterated liquor.

Pawan disputed Jagan's claim that he is the younger brother of the people of the state and the uncle of the children. A brother does not harm his brothers, but the CM is accused of doing harm.
