Officials urged to speed up the construction work of the houses

Krishna District Collector Ranjit Basha directed the authorities to call for tenders for immediate undertaking of leveling works in housing works layouts.

The Collector along with Pamarru MLA K Anil Kumar reviewed the progress of house plots and construction work in Pamarru constituency.

He directed all MRO, MPDO and housing department officials in the district to expedite housing construction and leveling works. He clarified that the housing space was obstructed by the local public or by the courts; an alternative must be found and proposed. The Collector suggested that lower prices should be fixed at the time of purchases to reduce the burden on the Government.

The Collector directed the zonal authorities to identify suitable places for the layouts and focus on the construction of houses within the stipulated time. He said that in the layouts developed by the district administration, electricity, drinking water and other infrastructure must be given priority.

MLA Anil Kumar has warned that stern action will be taken against the sand mafia involved in illegal mining. The sand mafia has been carrying out illegal excavations on the pretext of house layouts. Gudiwada RDO Padmavati Vuyuru RDO Vijay Kumar and others participated.
