Nitish Kumar in eye of Bihar political storm over local body polls deferment post HC order

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has come under fire from the opposition for failing to comply with Supreme Court orders that led to the postponement of urban local body elections in the state. The Patna High Court recently ruled that the Bihar government has "failed" to comply with the "triple test" set by the Supreme Court in 2021.
