New app will soon be launched for ensuring safety of women in AP: Home Minister Anitha

Andhra Pradesh Home Minister V. Anitha has announced the creation of a special protection division for ensuring the safety of women and children on the lines of the Elite Anti-Narcotics Group for Law Enforcement (EAGLE) task force.

“The special division will be headed by an IPS officer of the rank of Inspector-General,” Ms. Anitha said in the Legislative Council on Tuesday.
