Naidu says, People of AP have more patience than Sri Lanka

TDP Chief and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that the people of the state have more patience than the people of Sri Lanka who cannot tolerate their leaders due to the financial crisis.
"Even though Godavari floods have caused immense damage to the state, the government has merely played a spectator role. He said the government has failed to solve the problems of the flood victims. He lamented that the government had failed to resolve the Godavari flood situation.
On Thursday, Naidu and TDP leaders inspected the villages of Ayodhyalanka, Puchalanka, Marrimula and other villages in West Godavari district as well as Nagullanka and Manepalli villages in P.Gannavaram mandal, Mamidikuduru mandal and Rajolu mandal Appanapalli villages in Konaseema district.
Chandrababu Naidu alleged that CM Jagan's government's incompetence and greed led to destruction in the form of floods in Godavari district. He said that the people of Godavari region are getting favor with their talent and dynamism in changing the governments during elections.
Accusing Jagan's government of being the worst government in the country, he wanted the people of Godavari region to vote for YS Jagan's government.
The TDP leader called upon the people to wake up and question the government on its anti-people policies. He alleged that the Jagan government has failed miserably in solving the problems of the flood victims and has also made ineffective arrangements to monitor the flood situation.
He criticized the government for not paying attention to the needs of the flood victims and not supporting them except by giving those tears. Even after a week, the victims are facing flood water and many other problems. He said that people are suffering due to lack of electricity supply and many other problems. He added that road connectivity has also been severely damaged.
Naidu mentioned that he had gone to Visakhapatnam to solve the problems and help the people especially before the Hud Hud typhoon.
'Similarly, during the Godavari floods in November 1996, he camped in Rajahmundry and monitored the entire situation and solved the problems of the flood victims,' he recalled. Stating that 73% of the Polavaram project was completed during his tenure, Naidu lamented that the Polavaram diaphragm wall was washed away in the recent floods.
He criticized the government for failing to purchase rice and deposit it in farmers' accounts. He said that the government is more interested in imposing taxes than helping the flood victims.
TDP chief Naidu claimed that the people of the flooded mandals are also revolting against the government's careless attitude in taking relief measures. People had to suffer with improper actions; He accused CM Jagan of introducing tiger style politics in the Godavari region.
