MP invites Central Minister Gadkari to lay stone for Morampudi flyover

All the obstacles to the construction of Morampudi flyover will be removed and hopes are rising that the long-time wish of the people of Rajahmundry will be fulfilled. Rajahmundry MP Margani Bharat Ram expressed confidence that the foundation stone of this flyover will be laid this month.
The MP invited Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari to lay the foundation stone for the construction of Morampudi flyover. Bharat together thanked Minister Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday for approving the construction of five flyovers in the Rajahmundry parliamentary constituency.
Bharat said that the Union Minister will start the construction of flyovers in Morampudi, Jonnada, Thetali, Undrajavaram and Kaikaram areas. Permissions have been received earlier for the construction of Morampudi flyover.
However, the MP said that the construction of the flyover was stopped after a committee from Delhi said that the traffic problem would be reduced if a bypass road was constructed from Diwan Cheruvu to Kovvur.
Bharat Ram said that the officials and politicians did not have any understanding at that time. But I explained to the minister that Morampudi junction is known as death junction.
Rajanagaram, Lala Cheruvu, Diwan Cheruvu, AV Apparao Road, JN Road, Morampudi, Hukumpet, Bommur and Vemagiri areas have been identified as accident prone areas, he said.
After discussing all these matters with the district SP etc., MP Bharat put 38 black spots and again spoke to various groups. It was because of his efforts that the special committee toured once again.
The MP explained that every black spot from Rajanagaram to Vemagiri was shown to the committee along with the district police officers and National Highway officers. The MP said that Union Minister Gadkari has also supported and approved this project and the contracting agency is ready to start the work.
He said that the Union Minister responded positively when he was invited to the foundation stone laying ceremony. The foundation stone lying date will be finalized between August 16 and 22. The MP thanked Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy for their cooperation.
