Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday interacted with the Indian Diaspora on his visit to Denmark's Copenhagen and invoked inclusiveness and cultural diversity in his speech. Whatever the language, our culture is Indian, he said.
PM Modi said, "Inclusiveness and cultural diversity is the strength of the Indian community. We believe in 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' - one world."
He stated that due to India's vast diversity, people may have different food choices and languages but have the same Indian culture.
Further, PM Modi asked the Danish people to come to India to find answers and solutions to save the planet. I want to tell our Danish friends to come to India to jointly find answers to the problems of the planet, he said.
The Danish Prime Minister spent several minutes listening to Modi and then left due to her other engagements but not before Modi profusely thanked her for her gesture in welcoming him. He also told the audience that the Danish Prime Minister’s gesture of being present showed her love for India and Indians.
Before leaving for Paris, PM Modi will attend the 2nd India-Nordic Summit and will also meet Danish Queen Margrethe II.
The summit will reportedly focus on subjects like post-pandemic economic recovery, climate change, innovation and technology, renewable energy, the evolving global security scenario and India-Nordic cooperation in the Arctic region.
