Controversy over Namaz at Lulu Mall in Lucknow has not subsided. Ayodhya-based Mahant Paramahans Das was detained on Tuesday when he reached Lulu Mall carrying water to clean the mall.
A minor scuffle ensued with the police personnel as they were prevented from entering the mall.
Seer told reporters that if saints are not allowed inside the mall, it should be closed.
Paramahans Das is known for regularly creating controversies. Recently they were prevented from entering the Taj Mahal and worshiping it. Earlier he wrote a letter to the President asking for Hindu Rashtra.
It is noteworthy that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has already pulled up the district and police administration over the protests organized outside Lulu Mall in Lucknow.
He directed the Lucknow administration to curb anti-social forces that disturb communal harmony and injustice.
“The authorities should take this matter seriously and will not tolerate such disorder.”Strict action should be taken against the thugs who are trying to create chaos in the mall," he said.
The Chief Minister said that Lulu Mall, a commercial establishment, has been turned into a political centre.
“Some people are making unnecessary announcements and staging demonstrations to obstruct the movement of people visiting the mall. Do not allow anyone to disrupt traffic on the road by offering prayers or other activities,” he ordered.
