Kanchi will inaugurate 39th Chaturmasya Deeksha

Jagadguru Sankara Vijayendra Saraswati Swami, the 70th President of Moolamnaya Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham will inaugurate the 39th Chaturmasya Deeksha at the Akundi Lakshmi Memorial Goshala (Chaganti Vari Goshala) here on Wednesday.

Spiritual speakers Chaganti Koteswara Rao said that the initiation will continue till September 10. On the occasion of Chaturmasya Deeksha, Yoga Linga Chandramouliswara Sameta Maha Tripurasundari will be performed thrice daily.

He said that during Chatrumasya Vrata Deeksha, Swami does Japa, Tapa and Dhyana with utmost devotion.

Koteswara Rao said that Vyasa Puja, Vedic meetings and Yagnas will be organized on this occasion. On this occasion, prominent people in astrology studies will come and hold discussions on various topics, he said.

Nityagnihotra staff from different parts of the country will also participate on this occasion, he said. He said that eminent Vedic scholars will participate on this occasion. He said that Chaturmasya Diksha will be held for two months.
