Pawan Kalyan, Jana Sena Party Chief on Tuesday said the YSR Congress Party leg State government should repent for restoring to using the name of Dr B.R Ambedkar to create a controversy over renaming the Konaseema district and he blamed the state government for Tuesday’s violence in Amalapuram.
Pawan said that the state government is responsible for the imbroglio by dragging the name of Ambedkar into the mess. The government had miserably failed to maintain law and order and to develop the state. However, the ruling party holds the other parties responsible only to cover its shortcomings. “The YSRCP has created the controversy of renaming the Konasema district only to hide its failure in governance and prevention of violence across the State. We condemn Home Minister Taneti Vanita’s observations that attributed Jana Sena Party to the controversy,” added Mr. Kalyan. He said that it was not proper to hold Jana Sena responsible for the mess created by the ruling party.
