Jagan directed the official’s to expedite construction of houses

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has directed the top officials of the Housing Department to speed up the construction of houses in the Navratna-Pedalandari scheme.

The Chief Minister reviewed the progress of housing construction schemes at his camp office on Monday and reminded the officials that funds are being released properly for housing construction.

Authorities were ordered to speed up the construction of 1.24 lakh houses in Visakhapatnam. Officials said last week that the construction of houses will start by October.

The Chief Minister ordered to complete those houses on time. The officials informed him that the construction of houses selected under option three is also going well.

Besides construction, the Chief Minister directed the officials to focus on the creation of infrastructure such as drainage, roads and electricity connections in the Jagananna Colonies.

TIDCO inspected the houses and speeded up the treatment process by inspecting the officials to provide full infrastructure and hand over the houses.

Officials were asked to focus on the maintenance of TIDCO houses and prepare plans. Officials said that 1.4 lakh houses will be ready in another 15-20 days.

Officials said that 2, 03,920 applicants have been found eligible and land titles have already been given to one lakh beneficiaries. The Chief Minister told them to show the plot of land to the beneficiary while handing over the land title.
