DMK MP's privilege motion against Union Minister over 'uncivilised Tamils' remark

DMK MP Kanimozhi moved a privilege motion against Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday, accusing him of calling Tamil Nadu and its people uncivilised and demanding an apology.

"I strongly condemn Union Education Minister Dhramendra Pradhan for his disgraceful remarks calling Tamil Nadu and its people uncivilised. On behalf of the DMK and 8 crore Tamilians, I demand an immediate apology!" she said.
