Dawoodi Bohra community thanks PM Modi for bringing Waqf (Amendment) Act

A delegation of the Dawoodi Bohra community on Thursday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the enactment of the Waqf (Amendment) Act, stating that it had been their long-pending demand.

The delegation comprising business leaders, professionals, doctors, educators, and various prominent representatives met Mr. Modi at his official residence. Recalling his strong connection with the community, the Prime Minister spoke about the years of work that went behind framing the Act.
