Telangana state BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Sunday targeted the state government over the problems faced by Basara IIIT students.
He accused the state government of neglecting to solve the problems of the students. He asked the state government why they are not solving the problems of the students.
It is said that the protest activities of the students of the institute are going viral on social media and the state government is not paying attention to them.
He said that his party's MP Soyambabu Rao had appealed to the state CM KCR several times about the problems of IIIIT students and it was outrageous that his party's MP who went to know the problems of the students was arrested by the police.
He made these comments while talking to the media at Basara IIIT. Speaking on this occasion, Sanjay asked the state ministers not to look down on the protest activities of the students who are agitating within the four walls of the institute.
To the state government, the students met several public representatives and asked them to solve their problems.
He strongly criticized the silence of the state government despite the students taking up protest activities. He alleged that the police are arresting all the leaders including him who tried to meet the students. (NSS)
