Arrangement are being made to make Har Ghar Tiranga a grand success

Prakasam District Collector AS Dinesh Kumar said that arrangements are being made to make the Har Ghar Tiranga program a success in the district as per the directives of the Central Government.

Speaking at a press conference held at the Collectorate on Monday, Dinesh Kumar said that various programs are being organized from August 1 to 15 as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsavam in the district.

He said that special programs will be organized at important places, family members of freedom fighters will be honored and the services of freedom fighters and their family members who are not recognized enough will be recognized.

Along with organizing awareness programs on the theme of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, rallies and competitions are also organized.

The collector said that steps are being taken to hoist the tricolor flag on every house for three days from August 13 to 15.

He said that the district needs seven lakh flags and they will distribute them to every house through volunteers. He informed that the Center has already amended the flag code so that the national flag can be hoisted even at night for three days.

He said that people will be encouraged to participate in the programs organized from August 1st to 15th, selfie points will be set up at selected places and documentaries and short films will be made on the importance of historical places in the district.

A museum will be set up in the district center to inform the future generations about the historical events that took place in the district.

To make the special programs organized for a fortnight a success, special committees have been formed with public representatives and officials and the Collector asked people to participate in this program.
