Applications invited for State Tourism Excellence Awards

Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority (APTA) has invited applications from individuals and organizations for the 'State Annual Tourism Excellence Awards-2021-22'. The awards will be presented in 14 different categories of the travel and tourism industry on September 27 on the occasion of World Tourism Day celebrations.

The theme of this year's celebrations is 'Rethinking Tourism'. Application forms and detailed guidelines can be downloaded from Andhra Pradesh Tourism website (www.aptourism.gov.in). Last date for submission of applications is September 10 at the Apta office in Autonagar.

APTA CEO and Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) K. Kannababu addressed that the tourism department, which has been quiet for two years due to the corona virus epidemic, is preparing to organize the celebrations with renewed vigor and enthusiasm Sunday media.

He said that the state has vast tourism potential with natural resources and scenic destinations and the tourism, travel and hospitality sectors should make the best use of this gift to attract tourists.
