Ankurarpanam held for 3day Pavitrotsavam

Ankurarpanam, a preparatory religious event for the three-day annual sanctification in Tirumala, was held in grandeur in Tirumala on Sunday.

The rituals were first performed by the priests in the Vasantha Mandapam near the temple and later in the yagashala set up for the three-day religious festival in the Sampangi Prakaram of the Tirumala temple amid Vedic rituals.

The famous Tirumala temple will hold annual consecrations from August 8 to 10. TTD Executive Officer AV Dharma Reddy, Temple DEO Ramesh Babu and others participated.
