AIIMS-Mangalagiri, SRM University- AP collaborate for research programs

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Mangalagiri has agreed in principle to collaborate with SRM University-AP for joint research programs of mutual interest in healthcare. The university said in a statement on Thursday that doctors of AIIMS Mangalagiri and SRM faculty held a joint meeting at the Mangalagiri campus to discuss the matter.

SRM Pro V-C Prof D Narayana Rao expressed the importance of collaboration with AIIMS in proposed research projects, outreach programs and patent inventions undertaken by SRM University-AP in the last three years.

SRM Medical Officer Dr CH Lakshmi Rajyam has requested AIIMS-Mangalagiri to provide medical and health services to the faculty, staff and students of the university. AIIMS Mangalagiri Director Dr. Mukesh Tripathi agreed to these proposals in principle.
