76 projects sanctioned under Swadesh Darshan Scheme of Tourism Ministry

A total of 76 projects with an allocation of ₹5,287.90 crore have been sanctioned under the Swadesh Darshan Scheme, out of which 75 projects are physically complete, the Union Tourism Ministry said on Wednesday (December 25, 2024).

The Swadesh Darshan Scheme was launched by the Centre in 2014-15 for the integrated development of theme-based tourist circuits. It was revamped as Swadesh Darshan 2.0 in order to develop sustainable and responsible destinations with tourist and destination-centric approach.
