15 students fall ill after consuming mid-day meal in Tamil Nadu school

Fifteen students studying in a government school in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruchirappalli reportedly fell sick after consuming a mid-day meal in school.

A medical team reached the school, inspected the children and administered glucose and medicine. The team revealed that the children showed symptoms of food poisoning but the cause could only be confirmed after testing the food and water sample. They were then admitted to a nearby hospital.
