He is an innovative artist. For him, the processing of creating art is a laborious process. Selection and use of materials to achieve outstanding textures and tones of colours is something meticulous and creative process. The artist must be able to visualize the impact the art piece would have direct on beholder. Most of his work reflects his love for simple life, the way we live in day to day life. His canvasses communicate powerful emotions. He is an adept at capturing subtle emotions something that makes his work Unique. He has made a name for himself with his amazing work.
Meet Malla Siva, the Miniature Artist.
Malla Siva who hails from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India is a Loco Pilot (G) in East coast Railways by profession and Miniature artist by passion. He shot into fame after he set a world record in creating miniature Chessboard. He is a fine painter and drew number master pieces. The National Railway Museum had asked him to paint pictures of India’s oldest trains.
He started working on 12 paintings, based on the photographs of the locomotives and stations using water colours with pen. Out of the six drawings done, the National brought out three as Greeting cards.
They are the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, the Shivalik Delux Express waiting at the Taradevi Station on the Kalka-Shimla route and the X class locomotive of the Nilgiris Mountain Railway.
All the three depicts the beautiful and lush green terrain through which the trains pass.

The then Union Minister of State for Railways Muniappan and E.Ahemd presented him Certificate of appreciation. Railway Board Chairman A.K. Mittal & former Chief Minster of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy also appreciated his work. He received honorary doctorate in the year 2010. His art has been featured in many magazines.
