Supreme Court Slams MP Minister Vijay Shah For Remarks on Colonel Sofiya Qureshi: 'Speak With Responsibility'

The Supreme Court on Thursday slammed Madhya Pradesh Minister Vijay Shah for making objectionable remarks against Colonel Sofiya Qureshi. The Apex Court said that a minister is expected "to speak with responsibility."

"Person holding such an office is expected to maintain such a decree...every sentence uttered by minister has to be with responsibility," said Chief Justice of Idia BR Gavai while hearing an urgent mentioning of his plea against Madhya Pradesh High Court's suo motu direction to register the FIR.
