Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Monday claimed that the BJP had offered him the post of chief minister if he split the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

Addressing a press conference in Ahmedabad, Sisodia said he was surprised to receive a message that he had two offers from the BJP.

"The messenger said that all major cases registered against me by CBI-ED will be withdrawn. Another is that I will break the party and they will make me chief minister," the AAP leader claimed. I gave them a clear answer. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is my political mentor and I learned politics from him. I did not enter politics to become CM or Prime Minister, Sisodia said.

Earlier, he had claimed on Twitter that he had received an offer to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and close all CBI and ED cases against him. He said that he refused the offer saying that he was a Rajput and a descendant of Maharana Pratap.

I will cut off my head but I will not bow down to corrupt conspirators. All the cases against me are false. Sisodia is among 15 individuals and firms named in an FIR registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation in connection with irregularities in the implementation of the Delhi Excise Policy.

Alleging corruption in the Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22, the CBI raided the house of an AAP leader on Friday. AAP national convenor Kejriwal and Sisodia arrived on a two-day visit to Gujarat where assembly elections will be held later this year.

During this visit, two AAP leaders held discussions on employment and education with the youth of the state. Continued from p1 the children of this generation should know about the greatness of the Mahatma because freedom was not achieved in a simple way, it was achieved after a lot of sacrifices, he said.

He said that programs are being organized every day explaining the various programs undertaken by the government for the past fortnight, and thus there will be a discussion on the freedom movement in villages and towns.

The Chief Minister congratulated Vajrotsavalu Committee Chairman K Kesha Rao and General Secretary Somesh Kumar for organizing the fortnight program. He said that two events attracted him a lot, out of which almost one crore people recited Jana Ganamana Parayanam en masse which was the pride of Telangana.

Second is to show the new generation the film 'Gandhi' which was seen by 22 lakh children. He thanked the artists who participated in the celebrations for the last fortnight.
