Shubman Gill becomes fastest to 2,500 ODI runs, surpasses Amla

India's vice-captain, Shubman Gill, has completed 2,500 runs in ODI cricket. The 3rd ODI against England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad saw Gill attain this feat. Gill has become the fastest batter to score 2,500 runs in the format. He has broken the record of South Africa's Hashim Amla, who got to this mark in 53 innings.
