Rural Inspector Murari wins gold, silver medals in rifle shooting

Nandigama Rural Inspector Nagendrakumar's son Inavalli Satya Venkata Murari won a gold medal in rifle shooting in the sub-youth men category and three silver medals in the youth men, junior men and men's individual categories in the rifle shooting competition.

National Rifle Association of India organized the competition from August 4 to 8 at Central University, Hyderabad.

Police Commissioner Kanti Rana Tata felicitated Murari and his father Nagendra Kumar at the commissioner's office here on Tuesday. The commissioner said that it was a privilege to compete with seniors in the open categories and win a medal.

He wished to get more training in rifle shooting and get more awards for the state and the country in future.
