Reliance Industries plans to invest ₹65,000 crores in A.P. to set up compressed biogas projects

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has come forward and  entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Andhra Pradesh government on Tuesday to set up compressed biogas projects in the State, with a proposed investment of ₹65,000 crores.

          The project will result in the creation of 2.50 lakh jobs, and earn an estimated ₹57,650 crores in taxes and duties for Andhra Pradesh over a period of 25 years, according to the Memorandum of Understanding signed on Tuesday.
