Pollard announces retirement from IPL; appointed batting coach of MI

Charismatic West Indies cricketer Kieron Pollard has announced his retirement from playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Mumbai Indians, but will take up the role of batting coach for the franchise's most successful side in the lucrative T20 tournament.
