New Zealand stormed into the final’s of Champions Trophy, outplaying South Africa by 51 runs in the second semifinal at the Gaddafi Stadium here on Wednesday.
For South Africa David Miller’s unbeaten 100 off 67 balls was not enough. The losing side ended at 312 for 9 in 50 overs. Captain Temba (56) and Rassie Van 69 made major contributions.
For the Kiwis, centuries from Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson powered New Zealand to a big total of 362 for 6 -- the highest in Champions Trophy history.
