BJP National General Secretary Daggubati Purandeshwari said that there is a need to create awareness among the people about the various welfare schemes implemented by the Modi government in the country.
She said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is running a people-friendly administration, but the opposition is spreading false propaganda against the NDA government.
Purandheswari said at the meeting of BJP cadres held here on Sunday, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) wants to take initiative to bring more attention to the youth by highlighting the programs implemented by the central government along with Make in India and incentives for start-up companies.
The former union minister said that the party leaders should strengthen the BJP from the booth level to win the trust of the people. She explained the decisions taken in the party's national executive meeting held in Hyderabad recently.
Meanwhile, BJP national secretary Y. Satya Kumar said that on the occasion of Pandit Deenadayal Upadhyaya Jayanti, the BJP will take out a padayatra in the state on September 25 to protest against the anti-people policies of the YSRCP government.
Satyakumar said that the roadmap on the proposed padayatra will be announced soon. He alleged that the state government is claiming central government schemes as their own schemes for political purposes.
He said that the Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy failed to mention the funds sanctioned by the Central Government to the state in the plenary meeting. He criticized the state government for failing to grant houses to the deserving poor.
