‘Nadu Nedu’ works are to be expedited: CM

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh has directed the officials to expedite the Nadu Nedu work and complete it within the stipulated time. In a review of the education department at his camp office on Thursday, the chief minister said that under the second phase program, infrastructure was being developed in 22,344 schools and directed the authorities to start work in all schools by June. Authorities were ordered to set up TVs in schools.
He urged the authorities to think about the appointment of watchmen in the schools where the program was completed today for the security of school assets.
He directed the authorities to provide the best training to the teachers of the schools affiliated to the Central Board of School Education (CBSE) to achieve the best results.
Jagan directed the authorities to focus on effective implementation of TMF and SMF programs, adding that the situation would come to a head in the first place if schools and toilets were not maintained properly. He said educational gift kits should be distributed to students by the time the schools open.
The state government is providing one junior college or high school plus or KGBV for women in each zone and will upgrade high schools in 292 zones to high school plus or junior college, the chief minister said.
With 57,828 people using the app along the Reed, officials told the CM that students should focus on phonetics. The Chief Minister said that there was no need to worry about the declining pass percentage in the SSC examinations and that the government's objective was to provide quality education.
He said the government was conducting re-examinations for failed students and they would also be treated as regular examinations. Officials explained to the CM that students who pass are given the opportunity to write betterment exams in two subjects.
The meeting was attended by Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, School Education Special Principal Secretary Budithi Rajasekhar, School Education Commissioner S Suresh Kumar, Intermediate Education Commissioner MV Seshagiri Babu, SSA SPD Vetri Selvi, Baijus Vice President (Public Policy) Sushmit Sarkar and others.
