Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said the government is working to provide high-speed internet to every village and urged the world to tap the opportunities in the digital and technology sector and invest in India.
Calling the current period the age of technology, he said it was important to invest more in technology and innovation, stressing the technological benefits demonstrated during the pandemic.
The Prime Minister inaugurated the new 'Smart' campus of technology and services leader Bosch India here through a video message.
Modi said India was one of the fastest growing major economies and investment had rebounded in the last two years.
Thanks to our youth, our startup ecosystem is the largest in the world. There are so many opportunities in the tech world,”he said.
The Prime Minister said that the Government of India is working hard to provide high speed internet to every village.
Our focus of Digital India is to integrate technology with every aspect of government. I want the world to take advantage of these opportunities and invest in our country.
The Prime Minister congratulated Bash India on completing 100 years of its presence in India and noted the special significance of the event, which is marking the 75th year of India's independence.
The Prime Minister recalled during a visit to the Bosch facility in October 2015 with the then German Chancellor Angela Merkel that the (new smart) campus would definitely be at the forefront of developing future products and solutions for India and the world.
