Digvesh Singh Suspended For One Match After On-Field Fight With Abhishek Sharma

A heated exchange with Sunrisers Hyderabad allrounder Abhishek Sharma has resulted in Lucknow Super Giants legspinner Digvesh Singh Rathi being suspended for a match and fined 50 per cent of his match fee, the IPL said in a statement on Tuesday morning. Digvesh and Abhishek exchanged words in a heated altercation during SRH’s six-wicket win at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

Abhishek seemingly took exception at Digvesh’s send-off to him while he was walking off the field. The SRH opener, who had scored a blistering fifty, turned back and gave a mouthful to his opponent with the duo separated by the on-field officials and LSG players.
