Botcha says, Govt implementing reforms under the New Edu System

Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana said that the state government is effectively implementing education reforms and infrastructure construction with Rs.4, 890 crores under Nadu-Nedu programme.
The minister on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for the construction of 168 additional classrooms in 28 municipal corporation schools under Vijayawada Central constituency.
He inaugurated six additional classrooms at the Andhrakesari Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu (AKTP) Municipal Corporation School in Satyanarayanapuram
The classrooms were constructed with the funds of the 14th Finance Commission. The state government has sanctioned Rs.33.49 crore for the construction of additional classrooms within the Central constituency.
Addressing the students and staff, Minister Botsa Satyanarayana said that according to the new education policy, the government is implementing reforms and developing schools as opposed to corporate schools.
Vijayawada Central MLA Malladi Vishnu said that the state government is giving a lot of attention to the development of education and medical sectors across the state.
Mayor of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation Rayana Bhagyalakshmi said that the state government has sanctioned Rs.112 crores for the construction of additional classrooms in 90 schools out of 104 schools in the city.
