Booker for Lankan novelist

Sri Lankan author Shehan Karunathilaka won the Booker Prize on Monday for his novel "The Seven Moons of Mali Almeida". Karunathilaka, who accepted the award at a ceremony in London, said he hoped the book would be read in Sri Lanka "to learn from its stories".
