'Another injury could end career' - Shane Bond warns Jasprit Bumrah to manage back issue carefully

Former New Zealand fast bowler Shane Bond has raised concerns over Jasprit Bumrah’s back issues -- he has warned that another injury in the same area could potentially end the Indian pacer’s career. Having dealt with chronic back problems himself, Bond stressed on managing Bumrah’s workload -- especially with India’s packed schedule ahead.

                    Currently undergoing rehabilitation at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, Bumrah’s return to competitive cricket remains uncertain. It is still unclear whether he will play for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2025 or be fully fit for India’s five-Test tour of England in June.
