The Anivara Asthana Annual Budget Utsav was held at Srivari Temple on Sunday with religious splendor. On this occasion, TTD EO AV Dharma Reddy said.
To mark the occasion, special pujas including rupee haarti, prasadam and other kainkaryam (rituals) were performed amidst chants to the Moola Virat (Chairman), as well as a procession to the deities seated on Sridevi and Bhudevi by Sri Malayappa and his consorts. Flower decoration Sarvabhupala vehicle along with Shri Vishvaksen simultaneously in the golden porch in the puja hall.
However, the administrative reins of Tirumala temple have been changed to March-April since TTD took over. But this festival is celebrated on the last day of Ani month as per Tamil calendar which marks the last day of Ani month.
Earlier, Tirumala Presiding Officer Shri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy presented six large silk robes to the Lord (Mulavars) four, one each to the ceremonial idols of Sri Malyappa and Vishvaksena, the army chief of Lord Vishnu, as per the temple custom. Following the time-honoured tradition, Jeeyar Swami carries clothes on his head in a silver plate and presents the clothes to the Lord in procession along with priests and officials during Anivara Asthanam.
In view of the Anivara Asthanam, TTD has canceled the acquired services including Kalyanotsavam, Oonjal Seva, Sahasra Dipalankara Seva on Sunday. In the evening Pushpa Pallaki Seva was performed with great pomp.
Meanwhile, a saree was offered from Sri Rangam Temple in Tamil Nadu to Tirumala Temple in a traditional manner. Revenue Minister Shekhar Babu and Revenue Secretary Chandramohan participated on behalf of Tamil Nadu Government.

In 1843 the British Raj handed over the administration of the famous Tirumala Temple and other shrines in and around Tirupati to the Hathiramji Math Mahants and the Mahants as Inquisitors controlled the temples until the Endowment Department took them over the temples in 1933.
TTD has canceled the Kalyanotsavam, Oonjal Seva, Sahasra Deepalankara Seva on Sunday in view of Anivara Asthanam. Board member Nandakumar, Chennai Local Area Committee Chief Shekhar Reddy, Chief Vigilance and Security Officer Narasimha Kishore and Temple Deputy EO Ramesh Babu conducted the event.
