Andhra Pradesh Cabinet clears proposals to encourage SC, ST, women entrepreneurs

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, at its meeting chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday, took certain key decisions that would benefit women from the BC, SC, ST, and minority communities.

Addressing the media after the meeting, I&PR Minister K. Parthasarathy said the Cabinet cleared the proposal to provide power to the women entrepreneurs for five years at a subsidised price of ₹1.5 per unit. An additional 5% incentive would be given on SGST.
